What is G20?
The G20 is an international forum that focuses on policy coordination in the economic and development fields. The G20 has a strategic position in determining the future of world economic growth. This is because collectively, the G20 members represent more than 80% of the world economy, 75% of international trade, and 60% of the world's population.
Who are the members of G20?
G20 members consist of 19 countries and 1 region, namely: Argentina, Australia, Brazil, Canada, People's Republic of China (PRC), France, Germany, India, Indonesia, Italy, Japan, Republic of Korea, Mexico, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Africa South, Turkey, UK, USA and European Union.

Indonesia will hold the G20 Presidency for the first time in 2022 as stipulated at the Riyadh Summit 2020 with the handover at the end of the Rome Summit (30-31 October 2021).

G20 Presidency of Indonesia 2022 focuses on three priority sectors that are seen as key to a strong and sustainable recovery, namely:
Reflecting on the ongoing pandemic, the global health architecture will be strengthened. Not only to cope with the current pandemic, but also to prepare the world to have better responsiveness and capacity in dealing with other health crises in the future.
Digital transformation is one of the main solutions in moving the economy during pandemic and has become a new source of economic growth. To that end, the Indonesian Presidency will focus on increasing digital skills and digital literacy to ensure digital transformation that is inclusive and enjoyed by all countries.
To ensure a sustainable and green future and address climate change in a real way, the Indonesian Presidency is promoting the energy transition towards new and renewable energy by prioritizing energy security, accessibility and affordability.
What are the series of meetings of G20 Presidency of Indonesia 2022?
The summit meeting was attended by all Heads of Government/States of G20 members.
The meeting attended by Ministers and Central Bank Governors to discuss substance on the Finance Track and meetings attended by Ministers or Ministerial Level Officials to discuss substance at the Sherpa Track.
The meeting focused on broader issues such as political engagement, anti-corruption, development, trade, energy and climate change, gender equality, and others.
The meeting that was held with the involvement of deputies from G20 member countries with a discussion on the substance of the Sherpa Track and Finance Track.
