Geothermal Resource Risk Mitigation (GREM) Facility

Assignment Title: Individual Consultant for Financial Analyst Geothermal Resource Risk Mitigation (GREM) Facility

The World Bank is assisting the Government of Indonesia in establishing a Geothermal Resource Risk Mitigation (GREM) Facility (“the Facility”) to support exploration drilling by state‐owned and private sector developers. The main objective is to scale up investment in geothermal energy development in Indonesia. This will be achieved through providing about US$ 375 million for upstream resource development (i.e., exploration and delineation drilling) – the riskiest phase of geothermal development. Under the proposed Project, two windows will be created: (i) a Public Sector Window and (ii) a Private Sector Window. The Facility will be managed by PT SMI as the financial intermediary.

To support this project and build the organizational, PT SMI is inviting candidates who possess relevant education background, experience and competencies to join for position:

The attention of interested Consultants is drawn to paragraph 1.9 of the World Bank’s Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants under IBRD Loans and IDA Credits & Grants by World Bank Borrowers (January 2011, revised July 2014) (“Consultants Guidelines”), setting forth the World Bank’s policy on conflict of interest. A consultant will be selected in accordance with Section V. Selection of Individual consultants set out in the Consultant Guidelines.

Expressions of interest must be received in a written form to the address below (in person, or by mail, or by e-mail) at the latest by Thursday, November 11th, 2021 (“Submission Deadline”) by:
