Signing of the Regional PEN Loan Agreement with the Provincial Government of South Sumatera

The Covid-19 pandemic, which had an impact on regional economic conditions, made the Provincial Government of South Sumatera take advantage of the Regional PEN loan facility from PT SMI. President Director of PT SMI, Edwin Syahruzad and Governor of South Sumatera Province, Herman Deru, signed a circular regional loan agreement (15/10). The total loan approved is Rp507.9 billion and will be allocated for the needs of developing water resources infrastructure, structuring tourism areas, and improving road and bridge infrastructure. Through this loan facility, PT SMI hopes that its contribution can provide benefits to activate the wheels of economic movement on the island of Sumatera.
