Synergy of PT SMI and 5 Foreign Banks, Signed Syndicated Loan Facility Agreement USD 700 Million
In the midst of the economic uncertainty that is currently happening, PT SMI again won the trust of investors by obtaining a syndicated loan of USD 700 million. This is the largest fundraising activity undertaken by PT SMI since its inception.
Loans were obtained from 27 banking partners from Singapore, Japan, Hong Kong, Taiwan, South Korea, India and Indonesia.
PT SMI was represented by Edwin Syahruzad (President Director) and Mandated Lead Arrangers and Bookrunners (MLAB), namely MUFG Bank Ltd, United Overseas Bank (UOB), Standard Chartered Bank, Bank of China (Hong Kong), and CTBC Bank Co. Ltd, has signed a USD 700 Million Syndicated Loan Facility Agreement at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta (10/11).
The trust that PT SMI has obtained from its foreign banking partners is proof of trust that PT SMI in carrying out its operational processes always adheres to regulations and carries out good corporate governance.
