PT Sarana Multi Infrastruktur (Persero) (" PT SMI") and PT Angkasa Pura II (Persero) ("AP II") signed an agreement on Friday, March 20, 2015. The cooperation was in the form of a loan amounting to IDR500 billion from PT SMI to AP II to develop the airports in the AP II’s operational areas. This collaboration aimed to improve the quality of service airports, including the main airport of the capital of Indonesia, Soekarno-Hatta International Airport. This cooperation also showed a good synergy between the two state-owned companies and was expected to be an example of future synergy in developing Indonesia's infrastructure.
